Craigencalt was an early pioneer in organic gardening.  Originally set up by Eric Neil the farm had an area set aside for growing organic vegetables and supplying these to the local community.

Now, more than ever, people are realising the importance of reconnecting with their food supply and with Nature. Two Skies has therefore reinstated the area that was the original market garden and rented this to Andy McGovern of Greenheart Growers.  Andy plans to supply the farm café with fresh organic veggies in addition to supplying a range of other outlets.

Andy has supplied Veg Boxes in Glasgow's East End and supplies Cail Bruich, Michelin Star Restaurant in Glasgow, The Gannet of Finniestoune and Sprigg Cafe, Ingram Street. Greenheart Growers have worked with nurseries and schools and community groups in Glasgow to increase capacity and contribute to a viable local food economy.

Greenheart Growers will do the same in Fife, operating out of Craigencalt Farm and playing it's part in the wonderful community of like minded, like hearted people involved here at Craigencalt Farm, to generate positive outcomes for the local community.
