All of us are now so aware of the importance of bees and how threatened they are through a mixture of loss of land to agriculture and the use of herbicides. Craigencalt is therefore delighted that a local beekeeper, Kevin McGubbin, has set up twenty hives on the land. Hopefully the bees will be buzzing around the market garden and the allotments and helping both of these to thrive.
